Jour 01

Arrivée à Saigon (P.Déj / Déj / - )

Welcome on your arrival by our guide and driver. Transfer to the city, discover the city of Saigon starting with the visit of the central post office (1886-1891) with its metal frame of Gustave Eiffel, the Notre-Dame Cathedral (1880), built at the end of the XIX century by the French with brick from Marseille. Jour 02

Saigon/Ben Tre/Can Tho (P.déj/ Déj/ -)

In the morning, departure for the Mekong River Delta towards Ben Tre (75 km from Saigon and 2 hours by car). Upon arrival, boarding the boat for the discovery of the Mekong. During the cruise, discover the daily life of the people who live on the Mekong. First stop in a brick workshop that is still hand-made. Then stop in a craft workshop that will show you the technique of making coconut milk candies and items from the coconut. Tasting of local fruits and continuation of the visit with a bike ride through the villages and rice fields.

Lunch in an orchard. Afternoon, ride in sampan rowing among the arroyos before joining the driver and continue the trip to Can Tho, capital city of the Mekong. Night in Can Tho.

Jour 03

Can Tho/Cai Rang/Saïgon(P.déj/ Déj/ -)

Morning sampan ride on the river to the Cai Rang Floating Market, the most colorful and liveliest market in the Mekong where daily fruit and vegetable boats are concentrated from all over the region. After visiting this famous market, continue the cruise in the arroyos.

Visit a rice export shop before joining the driver. The tours end with that of the old house Binh Thuy, which served as a setting for many films including « The Lover » of Margueritte Duras . Return to Saigon at the end of the afternoon and have lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight in Saigon.

Jour 04

Saigon/ Da Nang/ Hoi An (P.déj/ Déj/-)

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Da Nang. Welcome at your arrival by guide and driver, visit the Cham museum which preserves the most beautiful collection in the world of sculptures dating from the civilization of the kingdom of Chams, now extinct. The Chams are a people of Vietnam whose ancient culture has been strongly influenced by India, as illustrated by a magnificent religious statue (8th-13th centuries).

Continue to Hoi An, afternoon, discovery of the city of Hoï An, ancient port very active in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is a perfect example of traditional Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese architecture, with its covered bridge, old houses, congregations. Night in Hoï An.

Jour 05

Visite de la banlieue d’Hoi An (P.déj / Déj/ -)

In the morning, bike ride through the villages of Cam An and Cam Thanh, rice paddies and arroyos of water palms to discover the peaceful and everyday life of the people, far from the traffic of motorcycles and cars. Cruise aboard a fishing boat, ideal for fishing nets and hawk practiced by the inhabitants, then aboard a boat « nut shell », round and braided boat moored to the boat fishing to sail peacefully in the landscapes of mangroves, lagoons and palms.

Hoi An/ Hue/Visite de la ville (P.déj / Déj/ -)

8.30am: Departure for Hue via a scenic road between sea and mountains overlooking beautiful beaches and crossing the cloud pass. Lunch at the local restaurant in the city.

Afternoon, then visit the Imperial City, heritage of UNESCO. The tours begin with the « Gate of the South », then continue with the Palace of the 5 Phoenix, the Palace of Supreme Harmony, the 9 dynastic urns dating from 1835, Thai Mieu Temple and the Palace of the Queen Mother , etc …

Jour 07

Découverte de la banlieue d'Hue (P.déj/ Déj/ -)

Après le petit déjeuner, transfert en direction du village Thanh Tien, où se trouve la fabrique de fleurs en papier et le village Sình, référence des peintres et artistes vietnamiens traditionnels. Continuation de la visite à la célèbre pagode Linh Mu (Dame céleste), connue par sa tour octogonale. Ensuite, croisière de Thien Mu en direction du village Thuy Bieu, connu pour ses maisons-jardins ancestrales au style unique,  en passant par de nombreux temples appartenant aux ancêtres, spécificité culturelle  de Hué. Balade autour du village par les vergers et les cultures maraîchères, l’artisanat local, les maisons jardins, etc… Déjeuner dans un restaurant familial au bord de la rivière Huong puis courte séance de massage des pieds.

Après midi, continuer la visite du mausolée de l’empereur Tu Duc, quatrième empereur de la dynastie Nguyen (1847–1883). Le mausolée est l’un des plus impressionnants tombeaux royaux de Hué. Avec une superficie de 12 ha et plus de 50 constructions au total, ce complexe est considéré comme la Cite Impériale secondaire. Retour en ville et nuit à Hue.

Jour 08

Hue/Hanoi/ Visite de la ville (P.déj/ Déj/ -)

Morning flight to Hanoi. Welcome on arrival and transfer directly to the Ethnographic Museum, which presents the lifestyles and customs of the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam. Then visit the Temple of Literature, first university of Vietnam, dedicated to the cult of Confucius and men of the country. The image of this temple is currently known as the emblem of the capital. Lunch with a typical Hanoi specialty: « Bún Chả », a dish prepared with grilled fish served with rice noodles.

In the afternoon, discover Ba Dinh Square where the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is located. It is on this place that President Ho Chi Minh declared independence from Vietnam on September 2, 1945. Continuation of the visit with the presidential palace, the former palace of the Governor of Indochina. Discovery of the Ho Chi Minh Stilt Residence, its garden and the « One Pillar Pagoda ». Late afternoon, visit the Jade Temple before the water puppet show, typical Vietnam art. Overnight in Hanoi.


Jour 09

Hanoi/Van Long/ Tam Coc (P.déj/ Déj/ -)

8.30am: After breakfast, departure for Van Long, ecological reserve of Ninh Binh province (Halong Bay terrestrial). Sampan ride in the reserve where the birds are very numerous. The flight on a body of water of a small spatula is a splendid sight.

Afternoon, visit Hoa Lu, ancient capital of the Vietnamese dynasties of the 10th and 11th centuries. The temple of Dinh Tien Hoang is representative of the sculpture of the seventeenth century. Tam Coc direction and bike ride through the typical villages of the northern countryside dotted with a multitude of karst peaks emerging flooded rice paddies. Overnight at Tam Coc.

Jour 10

Ninh Binh/Croisière sur la Baie d'Halong (P.Déj / Déj / Dîn)

Départ pour la Baie d’Halong en traversant les provinces du Delta du fleuve rouge. Celle de Nam Dinh a conservé les plus belles églises catholiques du Vietnam. La province de Thai Binh est le plus grand producteur de riz du nord Vietnam. Arrivée à la baie vers midi et embarquement pour une croisière en jonque. Près de deux mille îlots karstiques, empanachés de saxifrages, composent un paysage étonnant que l’UNESCO n’a pas oublié d’inscrire sur sa liste des patrimoines à sauvegarder.

A ne pas manquer : Arrêt dans une grotte, balade en kayak, baignade ou repos sur la plage. Retour sur la jonque, cours de cuisine et repas à bord. Pêche aux calamars en fonction de la marée. Nuit à bord.

Jour 11

Halong/Con Son/ Hanoi (P.Déj / Déj / -)

A morning awakening will allow to live magical and unforgettable moments while admiring the sunrise in Halong bay. Then have breakfast on board. During your meal, the junk will move to continue its cruise and allow you to discover all the beauty and charm of the bay with its wild beaches, its small caves and its « sugar loaf » cliffs …

Lunch on board. Disembarkation around noon to reach your guide and the driver for the return to Hanoi. Along the way, visit the Con Son Buddhist pagoda (17th century). Its architecture and collection of statues have been very well preserved. Arrival in Hanoi at the end of the afternoon. Night in Hanoi.

Jour 12

Hanoi/Paris (P.Déj /- / -)

You have the last full day in Hanoi to the old neighborhoods so Silk Street. You will find not only beautiful modern silk costumes, but also other local handicrafts and hundreds of gift ideas. Feel free to soak up one last time of the local gastronomy by savoring a bowl of Pho (chicken or beef soup). Depending on your flight plan, you will be able to travel to the airport.
